Arsenal legend Ian Wright has delivered his verdict on Theo Walcott and his ongoing career at Southampton. Theo Walcott is back at where it all started for him at Southampton after joining them on loan for the entire duration of this season. Theo Walcott has been in very good form in front of goal for Southampton in recent games and that has not gone unnoticed with Gunners legend Ian Wright who said that he's delighted that Theo Walcott is enjoying his football again at Southampton. He was a teenager at Southampton before Arsenal paid an initial fee of £5m to sign him in January 2006. Theo Walcott scored the first goal on his return to the Saints last summer during the away game at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. He scored the opening goal of the game but Wolves could not hold on after young attacker Pedro Neto earned his team a share of the spoils via a 1-1 draw.
Theo Walcott scored his second goal for Southampton on his return to the club during the recent away game at his former club Arsenal in the Premier League. In the league match played last month, 10-man Arsenal battled to a 1-1 draw at home to the Saints. Just like in the Wolves game, Walcott scored the opening goal of the game in the first half before Arsenal skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyangequalised for the hosts at the start of the second half. Arsenal finished the game with a man after Brazilian Gabriel was sent off after picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Walcott.
