WALCOTT REMAINS COY ABOUT HIS FUTURE

Southampton's on-loan midfielder Theo Walcott has revealed that he does not know where his future lies amid reports that he is heading out of Everton at the end of the season. The former Arsenal man is currently on loan at the St Mary's after leaving Goodison Park last summer in search of more game time toward the end of his career.

Since making the move, he has indeed been rewarded with more playing opportunities at Southampton than what he usually got at Everton under manager Carlo Ancelotti and even though he revealed that he is happy at the Saints currently, he insisted that he has no idea what the future holds for him.

Although he is currently out injured, he is currently working hard to return to the pitch and will look to try and return to the form he was on before ending up getting injured. Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhütl was recently asked about the Walcott situation at the club and he gave a clear picture of what he and the club want for and from the player.

Hassenhütl said that he loves the player a lot and has missed his presence since he has been injured, adding that his brilliant attacking style of play has also been missed as the club have found it slightly hard to break down teams in recent games.

The coach also revealed that the club are currently in talks with Walcott's agent and they are trying to establish an agreement that could see the winger extend his stay on the South Coast beyond this current season.

Walcott would be a great signing for Southampton if they could get the deal over the line as it is expected to be a turning point for him after finding his place in the Everton team in total uncertainty.
